Controlling the Posi-flate® Inflatable Seated Butterfly Valve

The standard Posi-flate control assembly is configured so that the valve is
“normally closed”. When supplied with air, the Posi-flate control assembly
will move the disc to the closed position and automatically inflate the seat.
When the control signal (electrical or air pilot) is received, the seat is instantly
deflated and the valve disc moves to the open position. When the control
signal is dropped, the Posi-flate control assembly will return the disc to the
closed position and automatically inflate the seat.

Tork-Mate Pneumatic Actuators

The Tork-Mate® 890 series extended life actuators
are ideal for the operation of 90° turn devices
such as butterfl y valves, ball valves, plug valves,
damper valves and other devices. Tork-Mate
pneumatic actuators have features that are unique,
providing many benefi ts to the user looking for
worry-free service.

QTRCO

F2 Series Spring Return Actuators

QTRCO F2-series actuators are composed of three basic sub-assemblies, two force modules and a torque module. The force modules
contain the pistons which provide linear motion. The torque module contains the yoke which converts the force modules’ linear motion
into torque and operates the valve.

HYDRAULIC OVERRIDE

QTRCO actuators may be mounted in any position/orientation. If
necessary, lift the actuator with straps placed inside the framework
of the body. NEVER lift the actuator by the cylinders, tie rods,
or travel stops. Lifting the actuator with the valve attached is not
generally recommended.

Jackscrew Manual Override

An appropriately sized jackscrew override can be installed on any
Q Series or F Series actuator with an 8” piston or less.

L Series type-C Double Acting Actuators

Every actuator assembled by QTRCO is tested prior to shipment to our customers. Order specific documentation may be available upon request.

L Series type-B Spring Return Actuators

Every actuator assembled by QTRCO is tested prior to shipment to our customers. Order specific documentation may be available upon request.

Q2 Series Double Acting Actuators

QTRCO Q2-series actuators are composed of two or three basic sub-assemblies, one or two force modules and a torque module. The force
module contains the piston and rack which provide linear motion. The torque module contains the gear which converts the force modules’
linear motion into torque and operates the valve.

Q2 SE Spring Return Actuators
